All items purchased from 20 Minute Candles are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This basically means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier. 20 Minute Candle products should be monitored the entire time they are being used, clear of anything flammable and used on a surface that is not flammable. Any use of this product is done at the users' own risk and 20 Minute Candles is not responsible for any damage as a result of use of the product, whether it is as-instructed or different from instructed.

Arbitration under this agreement shall be conducted under the rules then prevailing of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitrators award shall be binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction. SAFE USE OF THE PRODUCT

In short: Trim the wick of one candle, gently press it into the base/holder on a non-flammable surface and light the wick. Do not leave the candle unattended, to be on the safe side. Do not try to move the candle or the base until the candle is done burning- also for safety reasons.

Detailed: There are two, 20 Minute candles joined together by each wick. Select one of the candles and using a pair of scissors, trim the wick 1/8" above the top of one of the candles. Lay your candle base/holder on a non-flammable surface (ensure the surface will not be affected by any mild heat collected in the base as the candle burns). Gently press the bottom (non-wick end) of this candle into the pin of the base/holder until it is stable, steady and upright. Light the top of the wick and remain attentive and nearby the candle until it finishes burning. Do not try to move the candle or the base until the candle is done burning, as the base or candle can get warm in the burning process. Usually, it's not an issue, but just in case, avoid moving it until the candle is completely burned. Now, after we've scared you with all of those caution statements, go and enjoy your candles. :)
